Joie has dazzled us with her presence, movement and athleticism which are emphasized by her four white socks and cross. With enormously active and powerful hindquarters, a very active, uphill canter and a rhythmic, relaxed walk, Joie fulfills the highest demands of both Jumper and Dressage riders alike. With the same sire as Judgement, Joie has what it takes to excel in the jumper or dressage ring.

Joie is an example of careful linebreeding to the world class jumper-and dressage-producing mareline of -niki through both her sire, Consul and her dam, Ana Bella M2S, as well as to Joost and Furioso II. Olympic Hickstead is also a product of -Niki doubled. Consul by Nimmerdor continues to be one of the leading sires at Iron Spring Farm and is known for producing remarkable athletes. Consul has sired nearly 70 first premium foals, 52 star mares and geldings, 9 Keur mares, 1 licensed son, and 1 approved son, Judgement ISF.

Consul's sire, Nimmerdor Preferent, is one of the most important sires of the modern era. He is recognized for producing international show jumpers, as well as dressage horses.

Consul’s dam Waloniki is a Star, Preferent, Prestatie mare from the famous “Niki” line. (Mare line 11, breeding family 199.) She produced seven foals. The international dressage horse Hercules was one of three dressage offspring. Her three jumping offspring make Waloniki one of the few mares to be on the KWPN mare indexes for dressage and jumpers simultaneously.
