16.3H 2005 IMPORTED KWPN MARE
BY OLYMPIC AHORN out of RUMPOLE (OLYMPIC FERRO x DOUBLE LEADER xx)
Ahme P (Owned by Ryu Equestrian)
Olympic Ahorn daughter- Exceptional quality, outstanding conformation, power and even temperament
Ahmé is the long-awaited result of an unusual and rare blending of two Olympic stars- Ahorn and Ferro. Ahme is a tall, large framed mare who exhibits a great deal of impulsion in her gaits, a powerful take off with plenty of scope, outstanding conformation and a very sweet personality. We are honored to have this treasure of a mare for which we have Michelle Bartlett of Prima Equestrian to thank! Ahme is a real jewel and we are unable to wrest her from Monica who has taken her over as her favorite mare to "play" with!
She was awarded the prestigious Top-Five award in 2007 for KWPN-NA 2-year old Jumper Mares as well as in 2009 for her 4 Year old Iron Spring Farm Cup performance. and was the reserve Champion Iron Spring farm Cup 6 Year -old in 2011.
Her elegance, harmonious lines, and sheer power (stemming from Ahorn as a sire) make us eager to see her progeny. She will enter the broodmare band in 2013 if we are able to convince Monica to relinquish her!

Nimmerdor-Ladykiller xx-Fasching 1982 17.0h Bay KWPN Warmblood Stallion
Olympic Ahorn competed at top International level and consistently placed in World Cups and Grand Prix competitions representing the Netherlands in Nations Cup competitions and was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics. This earned him the prefix 'Olympic'. Ahorn is descended from one of the famous Holstein Families, no. 242 and is related to Joost, Alcatraz and Locarno. Ahorn's offspring continue the success with a number of progeny competing at International level. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Dutch Breeding, Ahorn, whose progeny have earned over $1,000,000 in prize money, has been awarded keur status by the KWPN. Ahorn's sire is none other than the world famous preferent stallion Nimmerdor.
Ahorn's dam produced 4 approved stallions and so far 3 international showjumpers. A fantastic producer of broodmares, Ahorn mares are highly valued for their ability to transmit the characteristics of this high-performance jumper (deceased) stallion.
Ahorn's sire Nimmerdor, KWPN Stallion of the Century, was the Netherland's top sire of showjumpers to 1993. He became a Preferant Stallion approved by almost every Sporthorse and Warmblood breed society. He himself was a very Successful International Show-Jumper and sire. Siring over 50 approved sons, numerous competition horses, exceptional broodmares and daughters with great conformation. In breeding has a heredity reliability of 94%.
Ahorn's grand sire Farn, was discovered On a misty morning, 1st November 1962, a NWP committee visited the performance test in Westercelle, Germany.
There was a 3 ½ year old Holstein stallion that met their approval, called Farn.
They hoped that Farn, would sire fine daughters, broodmares that would help upgrade Dutch breeding.
Farn was the sire of many fine filly’s/mares, but also he sired sons & descendants that would continue the Farn dynasty, as well as provide the sport, show jumping in particular, with a large number of potential athletes. He Added his Arabian influence to improve Dutch Breeding. Farn's history runs parallel to the history of the beginning of Dutch riding horse breeding. In the early sixties one had begun to transform the heavy agricultural horse into a type with more riding-horse qualities.

Damline Info:
Purchased in-utero, Rumpole Prima was ranked #5 in the nation’s Top Ten list for her high conformation score during the 2002 KWPN-NA Keuring tour. She was used as example of perfect modern conformation by the KWPN jury at the Keuring she attended.
Rumpole’s Dam Justanotherdottie “Dottie”, a Jockey Club registered TB, was approved by the KWPN for breeding and has produced many successful sport horses in both the dressage and jumper rings. Dottie stood at the prestigious Iron Spring Farm in PA for many years and was part of the Iron Spring Farm world famous breeding program until she was sold and imported to Canada. Whilst in Canada, she was bred to Olympic Ferro and Prima Equestrian purchased the result of this combination, Rumpole, in-utero. Dottie only had one foal in Canada as just shortly after the birth of Rumpole she was sold back to the USA where she remains today producing sport horses. Dottie brings to Rumpole’s pedigree proven TB blood which is much sought after and desired in today’s modern KWPN horse.
Olympic Ferro, the damsire of this precious mare also passed away before she was born a few days after having given an exhibition at the 2005 Stallion Show at Den Bosch that had the crowd on its feet cheering, and the Sakurais in tears. Rumpole’s sire the prolific ‘Preferent’ KWPN stallion Olympic Ferro, competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted his team in achieving a team silver medal, with an individual score of 74.92%. In 2002 Olympic Ferro once again had the highest scores on the Dutch Olympic team. Ferro is renowned for consistently achieving high scores for piaffe and passage.
As a three year old Ferro was champion of his performance test at Ermelo. He achieved 1st out of 30 with a final score of 84 and the outstanding results of: 6.5 walk, 8.5 trot, 8.5 canter, 8.0 for riding type, 8.5 jumping with rider, 8.5 free jumping, 8.5 cross country jumping, 9.0 for character, 9.0 for stall behavior and 9.0 for training report.
