Custom Foal Options for 2015
Sakura Hill Farm gladly accept requests for custom foals with some of our
mares who are available for this option every year.
This option enables a client to use the outstanding bloodlines of our mares
with the stallion best suited to their requirements.
The sire must be decided upon by mutual agreement as we do know our
mares and what they produce very well and wish to optimize your chances
for obtaining the very best foal possible. We certainly are very open to your
own suggestions of potential mates as it broadens our own horizons!
We enjoy working with clients from concept to conception to birth
and beyond!
Please let us know what you are looking to produce as well as a bit more
about yourself and we can see if we can dovetail our efforts to make your
goals become reality!
In the case of a custom foal, the Client chooses the stallion (subject to our approval), Sakura Hill Farm pays all costs (stallion fees (Stud fee up to $1,500), board, vet care, farrier etc.) for the mare during the pregnancy and the client buys the resulting foal at a previously agreed up on price.

Sweet Temperament
Comments:
Havana has an incredible sweet temperament with correct conformation, built for power. Her size makes her an ideal candidate to be bred to medium sized or taller stallions and with a well balanced pedigree with all of the heavy hitters: Capitol I, Cassini II, Darco and Contender, she would cross best with an outcross of French or Belgian blood.
Comments:
Quintess comes from a mare-line from the classic Capitol I x Sacramento Song xx cross. Her offspring have been powerful, yet cat-like with good rideability and excellent movement. Considering Quintess' height, she would breed best with a smaller stallion.
