Diamant de Revel is a new stallion for GK Performance Horses who was previously ridden by Andreas Schou, Diamant de Revel earned great success in the International Youngster classes in Europe.
He arrived out of quarantine on June 12th 2013 and the next week he was double clear and 4th in the $50,000 Grand Prix of Roanoke, his first show in the US. He is light, has excellent rideability, scope, carefulness, and a fantastic pedigree to match.
Sire Diamant de Semilly needs no introduction. Diamant carries much of the most important jumping blood in French breeding. His father Le Tot, has been a legend in France, consistently in the top ten sires in all age classes at Fontainbleau. Via Elf III, we find the blood of Ibrahim, who has a hand in the genetics of nearly all the great French sires.
Damsire Quidam de Revel under Hervé Godignon achieved extraordinary results in the showjumping sport. With Godignon he won team bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympics and was fourth indvidual. They won many Grand Prix’ and competed several times in Nations Cups. On the World Breeding rankings for jumping stallions he was the he topped the list two years in a row.
Many of Quidam’s offspring jumped and are still jumping on Grand Prix level. He produced about 183 approved sons. Well known offspring are Bianca D’Amaury, Tlaloc la Silla (Dollar de la Pierre), Quite Easy, Quite Capitol, Quidam’s Rubin, Quasimodo Z. Guidam (sire of among others Authentic and former European Champion Ninja la Silla), Nabab de Reve, Quinar, VDL Groep Verdi, Narcotique de Muze IV, Kyraleen and many more.
